Sorry! I ended up taking a long weekend away from the Internet. I went to Cape Cod to celebrate my birthday. It.was.perfect!
I played on the beach with these guys…

Pear Strudel with fig, cranberries, pine nuts and caramel sauce and vanilla bean ice cream

There were flowers, a bottle of wine and chocolate covered strawberries from my amazingly thoughtful beau

I ran along the historic and scenic Rt 6A
I smiled from the minute we started out on the journey…
until the sun went down last night.
It truly was one of the best birthday weekends ever. And I am grateful for each and ever second of it.
And now back to reality.
